Vision
The Practice Generator is a business development program for early career mental health professionals who want to work in a private practice setting but are either struggling to get started or need additional support and guidance with the business, marketing, and administrative sides of running a private practice. It is also for professionals who have worked in the field for a time and want the benefits of working in private practice but would rather leave the administrative headaches to someone else.
The Practice Generator program is a hybrid between a group practice setting and a “post-post-doc” residency for the early career professional who recently became licensed and has sufficient clinical competency to conduct psychotherapy, but wants additional guidance on the business and administrative aspects of running a private practice. In this way, the program is a gradual stepping stone that eases the transition between licensure or another job and opening your own independent private practice. The program has no specific duration and is paced with your natural developmental progression. Whenever a clinician feels they have learned enough and are ready to move on, they take their clientele with them.
The program also has opportunities for licensed providers who have been struggling and want additional guidance and business mentoring as well as clinical supervision of their therapy if that is beneficial. The program is also a group practice opportunity for experienced clinicians who would rather focus on clinical work and leave the administrative headaches to someone else.
